Statement
I am an interdisciplinary artist working with both physical sculpture and 3D software to explore form and shape. Through an institutional critique of American values and myths, I use my artistic practice to make sense of the Military-Industrial complex and my own role within American imperialism through my military service. I joined the United States Navy motivated by patriotism and the promise of a better life, yet my work now questions the autonomy and authority wielded by corporations and the American government, using traditional American imagery to examine these dynamics.

My work occupies a space between sculpture—grounded in the material world—and in ethereal technological realms. By combining traditional sculpture fabrication methods along with digital processes, I explore themes of gender, sexuality, socioeconomic status, and ableism in relation to capitalism. Living with chronic illness and pain as a result of my military service, alongside my other historically minoritized identities, grants me a unique perspective, compelling me to approach inclusion and accessibility as a foundational element in both my life and art.
